Dining Room

accommodation bangor northern ireland

At Hargreaves House, we hope you will enjoy our Victorian period dining room, which retains many of its original features including cornicing, woodwork and original fireplace. Hargreaves House also provides a unique seafront location, a rapidly diminishing option.

Hargreaves House provides a unique Breakfast selection as well as unique views, through our bay windows, across Belfast Lough to the County Antrim hills and, beyond, to Scotland. There is plenty of activity on the Lough to enjoy throughout the year including the traffic in and out of Belfast port, leisure sailing and pleasure craft activities as well as organised power boat racing and air displays too.

Where better to watch the goings on than when having a BBQ in the front garden of Hargreaves House, on the seafront.

During colder times of year, we often light the open coal fire so that throughout the day, our guests can enjoy the Dining Room in all its comfort - a beatifully quiet place to read or simply to contemplate.
